Swimming in a similar sonic pool as fellow socially-aware South Londoners Meatraffle, POZI's politically-charged folk-punk is potent on 'Whitewashing'. Written "about a motorway journey with an old friend during which they reveal some very unpleasant bigoted views, and the sensation of feeling trapped in the passenger seat," taunting bass and tension-fuelled violin intertwine as drummer/vocalist Toby Burrough's unfiltered lyrics are casually delivered.
